Our September 2024 Informational Tour took us to visit Weston Bridges in Aurora.
Weston Bridges is an independent apartment community for post-transition adults with intellectual, cognitive, and/or developmental disabilities. Designed for individuals who have minimal support needs, Weston Bridges features 53 secure single-occupancy apartments that are spread across four floors, each with a shared central gathering space. Monthly rent (studio $3950/1-bedroom $4750) includes daily breakfast and dinner, a variety of optional clubs and social activities, trained mentors and 24/7 on-site support staff, plus transportation to work, volunteering, grocery shopping, appointments, community recreation, etc.
Weston Bridges is part of the larger Bloomhaven campus which also includes the Bardwell Senior Living Residences, commercial and medical office spaces, and adjoining green space.
Many thanks to Lisa Fawver, Director of Outreach and Networking, for planning and facilitating our tour. For more information about Weston Bridges, visit their website at www.westonbridges.com
