We traveled to Highland Park for our October Informational Tour of Aspiritech. Founded in 2008 (by parents!), Aspiritech offers high-quality, competitively-priced, domestic software testing and quality assurance (QA) services harnessing the unique abilities of Testers with Asperger’s Syndrome and autism. Aspiritech provides a path for high-functioning individuals to realize their potential through gainful employment in an accepting environment.
Aspiritech currently employs 65 individuals on the spectrum and expects to generate almost $2 million in client revenue in 2017. They are also one of the founding members of Neurowrx, a global alliance focused on accelerating the employment of autistic individuals in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).
In addition to providing support services to their employees to optimize their success in the workplace, Aspiritech also offers social opportunities through their Stepping Up & Out program which is open not just to employees, but to adults in the community as well.
Thank you to Executive Director Brenda Weitzberg for organizing the tour and to Robin Kacyn, Program Services Specialist, for helping to facilitate.
Aspiritech illustrates every day the power of what is possible.
