Connect to Community

Our annual karaoke social event is a perennial favorite and this year was no exception. 

We gathered once again at Fox & Hound in Arlington Heights and our young adult participants impressed us, as always, with their enthusiastic performances and outgoing personalities.

We kept our vocalists fed and hydrated with appetizers and drinks provided by Connect to Community, then watched as one after another they hit the stage to belt out their favorite tunes. And what an eclectic mix of songs it was, ranging from “Let it Go” and “The Boxer” to “Thunderstruck” and “Left Hand Man”. We even led the restaurant in a round of “Go, Cubs, Go”.

Thanks to all our young adults who attended and to our wonderful volunteer facilitators, Stephanie Terzich, John Tobias and Ben Wallace. We couldn’t have done it without you!
