Several years ago, a group of generous and philanthropic young adults began hosting an annual Pub Crawl benefiting a different local charity each year. In 2017, Connect to Community was honored to be chosen as that charity. Held on April 8, the event was attended by over 100 people and raised over $4,000 (!!) to support CTC programs and services through t-shirt sales, split-the-pot raffles and donations.
Held along the Metra Northwest Line, the Crawl featured stops at Iron Horse Ale in Norwood Park, Emerald Isle in Edison Park, Tap House Grill in Des Plaines, and Durty Nellie’s in Palatine.
Special thanks to Jillian Zawlocki, Kaitlin Hillner and Mary Hanson for coordinating the event and to all those who participated. Your support of Connect to Community means the world to us!
