We were back in the kitchen for our October social event where we assembled and decorated 60 jars each of sand-art brownies and gourmet hot cocoa. Participants measured, mixed, layered and labeled, making quick work of the task with help from our always wonderful facilitators Marty Egan, Alanna Zawlocki and Jillian Zawlocki, plus many friends and family who volunteered to join in the fun.

Participants each took home a brownie and cocoa jar, with the rest of the jars being set aside for sale at our November Holiday Open House Fundraiser.

Thank you to Miner School for allowing us to use their fantastic kitchen for the event. We so appreciate your support.

Connect to Community social events are funded in part by grants from the Rotary Club of Palatine and the Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove. Thank you Rotary!
